Coastal suburbs, where 316 stainless earns its keep.
These suburbs sit in the salt-air zone east of the highway, where we default to 316 marine-grade stainless steel mesh on marine-grade frames. We install across all of them, even where there is not yet a dedicated suburb guide.
Sheltered suburbs, where aluminium and 304 give better value.
Set back from the coast behind the ridge or up towards the escarpment, these suburbs see a lighter salt load, so a perforated-aluminium or 304 stainless screen gives a long life at a lower price.
